Here’s my offer: I’ll be your pastor, your chaplain, your spiritual support as you live and work in the rock and roll world.

I am pastor at Bethel Lutheran Church in Gurnee, Illinois, but my side gig is writing a music review Website, Music Spectrum. Over the years of writing reviews, meeting musicians, and working with music industry people, I’ve realized that many Christians in the scene don’t have much support as they try to maintain their faith. God’s given me some wonderful conversations with some of these Christians, and Rock and Roll Chaplain is a way to start offering those conversations on a more regular basis.

Whether it’s in person after soundcheck when you come to town (Chicago/Milwaukee), by phone, or by email, let’s begin a conversation about life and what God is up to in your life. Let’s search together for how God can use you where you are. I’ll pray for you, encourage you, share God’s Word with you, and listen to you. In other words, I’ll do what a pastor does: care for you spiritually. A chaplain cares for you during special circumstances without taking the place of a local pastor back home. We’ve got hospital chaplains, military chaplains, police and fire chaplains, so why not a rock and roll chaplain?

If that sounds intriguing, get in touch by emailing me or call my cell at 414-254-9425.
